ABOUT
FARO Industrial was established in 2022 by Darren Monzingo, a USCG-licensed chief engineer and registered professional engineer with a career spanning 25 years in the fields of vessel design, construction, and operations. A graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Darren began his career as a U.S. Naval Reserve officer and merchant mariner. His time afloat was spent in both naval and commercial fleets aboard auxiliaries, tugs, OSVs, freighters, and tankers.

Intertwined with his shipboard experience is more than two decades as an engineering consultant, contributing to innumerable vessel design and construction projects.
